Product Introduction
Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide is primarily produced by smelting bauxite and coke (anthracite) in an electric furnace at 2250 degrees Celsius. Abrasives made from it are suitable for grinding various common steels, malleable cast iron, hard bronze, and other high-strength metals, as well as advanced refractories. Brown alumina is characterized by high purity, good crystallinity, strong fluidity, low coefficient of linear expansion, and corrosion resistance. Verified by dozens of companies, this product will not crack, crumble, or break during use, making it an ideal aggregate and filler for brown molten alumina refractories.
The main component of brown alumina is over 95% alumina. Its grade is determined by its aluminum content; the lower the aluminum content, the lower the hardness and temperature resistance.
