High thermal conductivity and low CTE enable green silicon carbide for refractory to achieve better heat dissipation and thermal matching in refractory materials. Green silicon carbide for abrasive, has high hardness and sharp particles, resulting in high removal rates and low polishing scratches. Its wear resistance and stable batch supply reduce replacement frequency and overall procurement costs for wholesale customers.

Therefore, in summary, high-hardness G-SiC performs excellently in cemented carbide grinding, making it a suitable wear-resistant lining. Its high melting point also allows it to be used as a thermally conductive filler. However, when discussing green silicon carbide for other applications, green silicon carbide sand is also suitable for more precise, high-density machining scenarios such as precision polishing and sandblasting.

At the 2025 China International Hardware Show, we met an overseas grinding wheel manufacturer who needed to replace imported SiC with a product aimed at reducing costs and extending its lifespan. Due to the product's specific nature, we were unable to provide samples at the exhibition. However, we sent three particle size samples within 48 hours after the exhibition, along with XRF/PSD reports. During trial production, the client discovered that the first batch of samples had a high breakage rate, leading to increased pulverization and substandard backwash performance. The engineering team immediately analyzed the causes (batch sieving deviation and differences in the heat preservation curve) and adjusted the kiln cooling curve and secondary grading process.

As the manufacturer, we promptly and effectively followed up on the client's situation, providing optimized and re-sieved samples. We also sent personnel to the client's factory to conduct two rounds of comparative tests (recording cutting efficiency, wear rate, and yield). Third-party laboratory retesting showed that the breakage rate decreased by 40% and grinding wheel life increased by approximately 28% after optimization.

The client expressed satisfaction and placed a trial order of 15 tons. A 12-month supply contract is expected to be signed after successful trial production, with quarterly batch reports and process follow-ups stipulated.

Through this experience, we summarized the key success factors as: rapid response to sample requests, transparent testing data, on-site engineering support, and traceable batch management. These factors reduced the client's trial risks and ultimately facilitated long-term cooperation.
