White Corundum Powder is a fine white powder made from high-quality aluminum oxide powder through electro-melting refining and crystallization.
Chemical composition: The main component is Al₂O₃, with a content between 99.35% and 99.50%. It also contains small amounts of impurities such as Fe₂O₃, Na₂O, MgO, K₂O, CaO, and SiO₂, with the following concentrations: Fe₂O₃ ≤ 0.06%, Na₂O ≤ 0.30%, MgO ≤ 0.01%, K₂O ≤ 0.03%, CaO ≤ 0.05%, and SiO₂ ≤ 0.15%.
Physical properties: Mohs hardness 9.0, specific gravity ≥ 3.90 g/cm³, bulk density 1.75-1.95 g/cm³, pH value 7.0, and refractoriness up to 2100℃.
Main applications: Widely used in sandblasting, grinding and polishing, such as for polishing and grinding buttons, mobile phone cases, silver polishing sticks, etc.; can be used as ceramic glaze and floor coating additives; used in the production of whetstones, grinding stones, oilstones and other products; can also be used to make polishing wax, polishing liquid, adhesives, etc.; also used in the production of wear-resistant flooring, wear-resistant adhesives, wear-resistant layers (such as fiberglass wear-resistant liners); can also be used in the production of ceramic filter plates, ceramic separation membranes, etc., as well as in the manufacture of diamond grinding wheels, diamond tool dry/wet grinding discs, resin grinding discs, etc.; can replace zirconium powder in precision casting; can also be used in the production of stone line polishing wheels, etc.
