Because its main component is high-purity α-Al₂O₃, and it is produced through electric arc furnace melting, rapid cooling, crushing, and grading, this white product has become a key raw material for wholesale procurement due to its high hardness, low impurities, and controllable particle size. No matter white corundum for abrasives or white corundum for refractory, white fused alumina demonstrates strong and wide applicability.

Just recently, a medium-sized grinding wheel factory in China, which had long used imported white fused aluminum oxide, faced challenges due to high costs and batch fluctuations affecting finished product yield, leading to an overall increase in rework rates.
